Location - Algiers Naval Support (New Orleans,LA)
Position includes the requisite experience in the following areas:
Ability to lead and manage system initiatives and new telephone installation projects. Provide technical support of US Navy’s telecom environment which includes six geographically separated Avaya (G3R software versions 9.2, 10 and 11, S8710 software version 3) Switches, VTC’s., T1’s, DS1’s, and DS3 Circuits, Intuity Voice Messaging system, Core Automated Information Retrieval System (CAIRS), and ISDN Commissioning. The ability to provide extensive call vectoring (calling tree) between the subject switches is a must. Proactively investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues by working daily, weekly, monthly checklists / system health checks. Publish Avaya Telephone Switch performance and capacity reports as required.
Perform other projects/duties as assigned. Technical certification in telecommunications specifically Avaya and / or equivalent work experience is required.
Wage/compensation will be commensurate with experience and skills.
